3.5 TON Ford Transit Horsebox. Reliable. Coach Built by Priory Horseboxes. F Reg. Can be driven by a 17 year old! No need for Plating - Just a plain old MOT needed once a year. Current MOT til September & Tax til February 2010. Cheap to insure (Onlycosts me approx £170pa). Really easy to drive.Carpeted side ramp which can easily be lifted by a lady on her own - Springs tightened so it puts itself up. Horse area is fully rubber matted with 2 easy to do partitions & space for 3 small ponies or 2horses forward facing. My 17.1hh Warmblood has plenty of space and travels in the middle of the box. Horse area is approx 7" high, 6'9" long and their heads hang over into the grooms area. Separate door to the grooms area which consists of an alley where the horses heads are with storage cupboard with shelves & hanging rail, mirror, brindle hooks, window into cab and over luton storage with saddle racks and spare tyre.Definitely a box not to miss as there aren't many 3.5 ton boxes around that can take horses this big. It can easily go up or down very very steep 45 degree hills with horses in as I found out in Woldingham recently! It is a very well maintained box and always gets any work done that is needed. It had new king pins at it's last service / MOT and all the other work that needed doing. Would suit someone who needs a nippy little box and loves it the way it is or may consider giving it a tiny bit of TLC (paint job or little revamp) to make it really amazing. That said it is in perfect usable condition and needs nothing doing to it other than aesthetics.
